Our Background
Established in 2020, Hope Inspired School (HISK12) began as a
small Learning Pod and has grown into a Private Christian School.
We operate out of God's Lighthouse Church in Garibaldi, Oregon.
Our Mission & Vision
Our Mission is to provide a safe & effective learning environment, based on sound Biblical Principles.
Our Vision is to see students grow in character, while also excelling academically.
Our Staff & Volunteers
Principal & Head Teacher, Mrs. Trina Lessor is a Certified Barton Reading & Spelling Tutor.
She has a passion for ensuring that children receive systematic instruction based in
the Science of Reading (SOR). We also take a visual and hands on approach to math.
In addition, students will learn:
~ History/Geography, Science, Handwriting/Cursive, Typing, Art & PE ~
Students will also receive daily Biblical Instruction.
We strive to do frequent field trips that introduce students
to new environments and learning opportunities.
Pastor Jeff Coon serves as a Board Member
while providing regular student support,
as well as a weekly Chapel Services.
His experience in private school administration
is of great value to HIS.
Ms. Julie Thelen provides daily support in a variety of areas,
both in and out of the classroom.
We are grateful for our Volunteers that give of their time to
support our students. All of our staff & volunteers complete required training
for working with children and have a background check on file.
